Seamless Editing System (SES)

The Seamless Editing System, or SES is a new tool that combines all the powerful features of our Content Management System with the ability to edit directly in a page.  Now you can see precisely how the page will look to your visitors as you are editing your content.  You can even add a component such as a Form or Photo Gallery on the fly!  No pop-ups, no limiting little boxes that only allow you to enter text.  Just load the page and start typing!

Below are some of the other new features of the SES:

• Draft functionality allows you to edit a page and publish it only once it has been completed.  A helpful tool if you need the content approved before making it live, or if you need to take a break and come back to it.
• Pages are auto-saved periodically and added to the draft list to ensure a minimal loss of content if your browser crashes or is accidentally closed.
• Improved style listing that displays your pre-defined styles as they will appear on the page, eliminating any guess work.
• Improved style handling formats content much more accurately than before, and eliminates redundant formatting tags that may interfere with style application in the future.
• More information regarding content regions - now you can get information on the regions height and width dimensions as well as which page is responsible for shared content.
• Online help is readily available to guide you through the editing process and a list of frequently asked questions is provided to address common issues.
