Who is Port 80 Solutions?
The simple answer is that we're a team that is commited to helping you get an online presence! Communications over the Internet is a complicated system that has been refined over the years using standard "protocols". Standard world-wide-web communication is done using "http" (HyperText Transfer Protocol). Every computer in the world has a unique address (an IP address), and communcations occur between these computers over the internet. To indicate what type of communcition is occuring, a "Port" is used. For example, port 21 is used for "ftp" (File Transfer Protocol) communications, port 25 is typically used for email, and port 80 is used for http (eg: web) communication - hence the name!
